Andaman and Nicobar Islands
Andaman and Nicobar Islands is the peninsula in Bay of Bengal. It is one of the seven Union Territories of India. The Island consists of roughly 300 islands, popular for their mangroves, palm-lined beaches, rainforest in interior part and the white-sand beaches. The islands are encircled with coral reefs that maintain marine life embraced with sharks and rays. The surrounding marine lives of islands are destination for scuba diving and snorkelling. This place is also popular for windsurfing, fishing and water skiing.
It encompasses two groups of Islands, Andaman Islands and Nicobar Islands. The capital of this territory if Port Blair. Agriculture is the main occupation of people over here. There are some small-scale, handicraft and village industry. This Island is developing as a tourism hub with unspoiled Islands and nice-looking beaches. Hindi and English is the official language, though most spoken language is Bengali in this Island. There are many kinds of tribes stay in this place, some of them refuse to contact with the world. This Island always has moderate temperature ranging between 23°C and 31°C with 80% humidity.
